Radicles: Rediscovering humankind’s primary roots is an evening of site specific dance, choreographed by MFA in Dance candidate Lisa Nevada. Set in Albuquerque's beautiful South Valley, west of the newly established Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge, Radicles explores the significance of the human/nature interface.
UNM’s Department of Theatre and Dance opens its 2014-2015 production season with As Five Years Pass by Federico Garcia Lorca, a rarely performed masterpiece by one of the world’s most influential playwrights.
Homecoming Weekend, September 26 and 27, 2014 The Friends of Dance present From the Horse’s Mouth: Magical Tales of Real Dancers, featuring UNM alumni choreographers and dancers in a triumphant dance theater production, conceived and directed by Tina Croll & Jamie Cunningham, benefitting UNM dance scholarships. Saturday evening only, the concert will be preceded by a Gala Tribute to Elizabeth Waters.
