Summer Theatre and Dance Academy

Each summer, the Department offers two intensive two-week theatre training programs, one session for middle school students and one session for high school students.  Participants spend the whole day learning all aspects of theatre from basic performance skills like acting, voice, movement, to more specialized acting skills such as stage combat, musical theatre, and improv techniques.  In addition, students learn about design and technical theatre including costuming, make-up, lighting, scenery and sound design.
